We taught English and computers in a Christian private school where we became members of a few beautiful families and instilled in our children a passion for adventure and sharing our love and lives.
Teacher, minister, computer technician.
The people are wonderful, the food is amazing and travel is super easy. We would drive to and from Colorado once a year and the country is something everyone needs to see. I loved the closeness of our friends and family there. They take very seriously the scripture that says to rejoice with those who rejoice and mourn with those who morn.
When you go to the beach and the vendors get pretty pushy, but there are other beaches where they are not as abundant. The hurricanes are not much fun and the earthquakes become nerve racking. When you live in Mexico with two blond children, you get stared at a lot, but eventually you just stare back.

That's really good to know. After living in Mexico I was pretty impressed by the customer service from Worldlink, but we switched to fiber when we moved outside ring road and there seemed to be service interruptions every week, sometimes for a ... Read More

It's not impossible to find, but the price is a bit prohibitive for a soft drink... I found root beer at either Saleway or Big Mart and it was like 200 rupees for 6oz Read More

Hi Kristin, as far as the dogs go, they will be fine. There are many good vets around town if they become distressed or ill. Though I doubt they will. We lived in Broken Arrow and moved to western Colorado (same elevation as Kathmandu) and our ... Read More

i want start indian restaurant . which area is good for business of restaurants

Martin_Jurick

Right now the Godavari (south of town) area is growing and the center part of Kathmandu is saturated with Indian food, so I would look there or maybe around Kirtipur (27.677323, 85.278143). I suppose it also depends on who your target clients would ... Read More

I'm planing to live in nepal kathmandu for 1 year, which is best in kathmandu road??

Martin_Jurick

I absolutely prefer motorcycle transport. I drove for 2 years and the only accidents I had were just me being clumsy (no injuries). You have to keep your head on a swivel, which is true of every place you go on a bike. Besides that, to see Nepal ... Read More
