My expat journey

London, England
My partner and I relocated to London because of his job transfer. We live in a flat in the West End/Marylebone and we are exploring the city.
I'm a Project Manager for the Design Council and I enhance social, environmental and economic sustainability projects by embedding design-related methods.
I'm also a professional dancer and Artistic Director of DUNYA dance troupe and a Principal of SKA Consulting.
Previously, I worked in California in town planning/project management/charity management.
I love walking and taking public transit.
Customer service often does not meet my expectations.

I spent 15 years in Orange County where I finished high school, my BA and my masters at UC Irvine. I was very active in the community and led several non-profit organizations, performed with a Middle Eastern dance troupe, and played league volleyball.

Associate Planner, Civic Solutions
Planning Project Manager, FORMA Design
Council Executive Assistant, City of Irvine
I love the weather, beaches, and diversity in Southern California. My family was close by making it very convenient to spend time together and I had a strong network of friends and colleagues.
I did not like needing to drive in a car to do everything.
