My expat journey

Perth, Western Australia, Australia
Start my career as a geologist abroad in order to broaden my horizons.
Originally from French Guiana and Martinique, I plan to later settle abroad and probably in the Caribbean.
Freshly graduated (master) in Geology.
My training and my different experiences allow me to be versatile in the different fields applied to geology: management of natural and environmental risks, management and exploration of mining and petroleum resources...
However, I would like to acquire transversal skills such as management and leadership during my future professional experiences.
The sense of observation, the naturalistic side, open-mindedness, reasoning and method are major assets in my profession.
I like learning new languages, discovering new cultures and I am very sensitive to their stories.

Schoelcher, Martinique, Martinique
Originally from Martinique, through my family, my stays, my internships, my experiences I consider myself just as Martinican as Guyanese. Martinique is an integral part of my identity and I am very attached to it.
I completed 2 professional internships there linked to my course in geology.

Strasbourg, Alsace, France
Originally from French Guiana, I moved to Strasbourg, alone, at the age of 18 just after my baccalaureate to study geology.
I completed my bachelor's degree and my first year of master's degree in geology/geophysics at 脡OST of the University of Strasbourg.

Kourou, Guyane, French Guiana
I was born and raised in Guyana until I had to leave my country to continue my studies in geology in France after my baccalaureate.
