My expat journey

Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia

Lyon, Rh么ne-Alpes, France
Now here I was a high school student in an International School. I was still being educated in French but I had 6 hours of English per week.
Just studying, going out with friends, and a whole lot more of studying.
Lyon is a relatively small city, so it is not hard to meet someone. The transportations are on point. However the people living in is a different story...
Maybe it is the amount of work most people have or because it is like that in every French city, but the people were not necessarily very nice and welcoming.

Madrid, Spain
Now this is what I remember clearly! Madrid was charming: the people were all so nice and fun! I made a couple of Spanish friends and they were absolutely lovely.
I was a student in the Lyc茅e Fran莽ais de Madrid (french school). I did nothing but watch television, go out with friends and do some homework for nine years.
I loved the people and the nice atmosphere.
I witness the harsh impacts the 2008 crisis had in Spain, so the people became more vigilant and the atmosphere became tedious from 2008 to 2012.

Edmonton, Alberta, Canada
I was just a little girl, but living in such a cold country lust have changed my life.
I loved the long winters with the endless snow.
It is a little too isolated.

San Jos茅, San Jos茅, Costa Rica
I was born in this country so I have no recollection of any events unfortunately!
If I could've remembered anything it would've been the nice tropical weather and the countless creatures I discovered every day!

Well, the tuition prices are really expensive if you wish to send your kids to the British International School for example. However, I can assure you they are going to have a good education (the same goes for the American School in Jeddah). Now, I ... Read More
