Retired since 1 August 2013 after 10 years of work at the Port of Venice and 32 years as a gaming employee at the Venice Casino. Married twice and divorced with the first and separated in the process of divorcing with the second wife. I currently live alone in Mestre in a rented furnished mini-apartment. The income, although good, does not allow me to live well, since I have to pay maintenance for my wife and my 16 year old daughter and the house I own on the Lido of Venice has been assigned to them by the judge. Having no ties, as soon as I retired I moved to Thailand with the intention of residing. After 3 months in Phuket and 6 months in Bangkok I decided to return to Italy because life in that country is chaotic and offers no security: a country with a totalitarian regime, few guarantees and skyrocketing pollution. I have considered the opportunity to reside in Portugal as a "non-habitual resident" where I have never been. I plan to undertake the trip at the end of March together with a friend for a period of one month.
