Hi my husband and I have currently got a little boy from PNG living with us in Australia - we are currently wanting to adopt him - I worked on Manus Island for sometime and met his family who could not afford to keep him and asked us to take him - we supported him from birth - his grandmother cared for him till we got paperwork to bring him to Australia - we have now had him in Australia with us for 2 years - we need to formalise the situation so he can become an Australian citizen and stay in the only country he really knows with us.
