My expat journey

Almunecar, Spain
My work has been my project, sad right. Things that will become my life, travel, fishing, golf, writing. My wife and look forward to just living life and building great friendships.
I am retired Air Force and my 2nd career has been redesigning transportation and warehousing, process improvement.
I will be visiting this destination in June, I've lived in northern Spain and travel/vacationed in southern Spain a few times. I love the south, love the beach, and want a more authentic Spanish life style
Nothing so far, it will be tough living in a smaller space and the kitchens that I've seen are all very small, I like to cook. I didn't see a lot of opportunity for BBQ, this is a must for me. I need a good outdoor space.

At the present my wife and I are raising to fine boys (dogs) Willy and Cheech. They are entertaining. My wife makes jewelry and we have fun going around to Art festivals, of course it nice to sell and make a little money also. You meet all kinds of craftsman and personalities and that a lot of fun. Planning our escape is my project so I research, blog, and read everything I can get my hands on.
I'm in logistics,I redesign warehouses and transportation networks.
Love the weather and the cost of living, there is always a new restaurant to check out or
an area we haven't been to. You have the mountains (not so big) and the beach just a 3 hour drive away.
The beach is a 3 hour drive away.
