I have lived in Boca Raton for most of my 59 years. Was fortunate enough to marry a girl from Bogota. Visited the city on numerous occasions. Somehow, I've developed a kind of affection for many of the people, the strong family bonds, many aspects of the culture, and the climate. I'm close to retiring as an American History teacher in Palm Beach Schools. This summer (for 4-6 weeks), I thought i might like to volunteer in some capacity wherever I might be able to make a difference.
