American from Hawaii living in Spain since September 10. Still trying to find my way, looking for mutual support in social networking. I am a cross country bicycle tourer who has landed in Madrid. Social worker by trade working with homeless and elderly. Would love to put my non profit start up experience to work even in a volunteer capacity. Looking to meet other expats for social support, advice in navigating the system, etc. Also would like to make some friends who i could joke with in english and wouldnt be stared at with an occasional slo-mo blink...
