I live in Livingston, Scotland, I am a retired general surgical nurse and had a special interest in Urology. When I retired in 2013 I decided after 5 months that I wasn't ready and took on part time work with a home care company. I loved the interaction with all the service users I visited and stayed there until November 2016 when the small family run company was being bought over by an English faceless company who changed the whole ethos of the word care! I am at present taking an extended holiday on Gozo with my also retired husband and enjoying doing all the walks around the island.

We are continuing to lead a relaxed lifestyle. Only recently returned once everything was sorted out in the UK.
Still retired, although in the long term would like to do something in the area.
Great place to be.
Getting used to the hills again although I am fitter than I thought.

We took life very easy and basically walked all over the island.
Retired general/Urology nurse.
Very relaxed, friendly people. Lots of walks that can be done repeatedly withou being bored. Improvement in health with all the walking. Lots of festivals to see and join in with.
Not a lot to dislike if you enjoy the relaxed lifestyle.
