Hi, I am a baker-pastry chef-chocolate maker and I have just completed training as a refrigeration technician just to change my mind. I am 41 years old, have a 5 month old little girl and am very fed up with the climate and quality of life in Belgium. I have traveled a bit and dream, like many, of a castle in Spain. After 16 years of baking in Belgium I have the impression that my professional life is a dead end. Social security charges being what they are in Belgium I feel like a cat trying to catch its tail. I decided to make the most of life and therefore to enjoy my family. I would like to settle in Spain between Malaga and Marbella and my heart is leaning towards Benalmadena for the moment. I'm still wondering, I left to explore near Torre del Mar and on the way I decided to go to Fuengirola. The problem is that financially Fuengirola is out of budget, Torre del Mar is more accessible and I have the impression that Benalmadena is a good compromise. I found this blog while searching the internet for construction in Spain. And so I signed up just to find information and share what little I know. Having often crossed Spain to go to Morocco, I know the country a little, especially since in recent years I have been stopping there more and more on the Costa del Sol for short stays of around two weeks.
