Hello, My name is Gilles, I was born in Port Gentil in Gabon (0 to 4.5 years old) then Lille (Nooooord... 4.5 to 22 years old), then La Rochelle (1 year military service), then Tours (23 to now). I was a workshop manager in a plastics processing factory (extrusion blow molding) and I am currently maintenance manager on a pharmaceutical production site for 17 years. I would like to live and work in Guadeloupe. Our children are grown and independent. We love La Guada and go there once a year. I know very well that working there is not "vacation", and we are ready to sell everything to move there... But, yes, but there is a but... I can't find work there (and I'm not there...) maybe too old (50 years old this year)... no response to all my requests... follow-up etc... nothing... So we get discouraged... I'm registering here to get information and maybe solutions. I also know that work is rare and in demand locally. Thank you for your welcome. Gilles
