My expat journey
Pakxe,Champasak, Laos
I was born in Ban Phonesikhay, Pakx茅 Champasak. In retirement we will make this place: an orchard, a vegetable garden, flowers for our own consumption without forgetting family and friends.

In 1992 I came to Laos on vacation with my wife and my three children, now the children are grown up, we both go to Laos once every two years and in three years we will stay six months a year. Our retirement will be in Laos and France.
In 2005 we bought the land in my mother's name. Since then we have been planting coconut trees, mango trees, papayas, pineapples, tamarind trees...and flowers....on 1.5 ha of land on the banks of the Mekong.
What we like is a very cute little village on the banks of the Mekong, quiet not far from Paks茅 Champasak,
To this day, we hope that the country's political leaders will help Laotians return to their native country.
