I have found my soulmate and he is Cuban. We both have been praying for our future spouses for a long time and God answered our prayers in the greatest way! We are trying to save money to meet and I plan on marrying him in Cuba and living there.
disabled. I am on SSI and live on a fixed income. I am unable to have a savings account or a very helpful amount of money in my checking account due to government regulations.
The people are friendly. I already have real friends and family. They have values and have not been corrupted by Western culture. They are appalled at statistics of horrible acts committed in the US that we often turn a cold shoulder to. I am already welcomed and I have never been there. I look forward to a simple, non-materialistic life.
I am not a fan of communism. However, I am not completely in love with our democratic system either. I know that American tourists are cheated monetarily and I do not appreciate that. It is sad that they are "closed-off" from much of the world. But that is something I love. A place where the people are happy and open-minded. I enjoy being able to have free-press but at the same time it is overwhelming.
