About

I always - even as a child - felt like a foreigner in my own country. But I don't usually like other current countries either. Now my teenage daughters say to me, "What are we going to do, Mom? Where are we going?" Because Venezuela today is synonymous with flagrant ruin or catastrophe. Where to go? -I ask myself. The only contemporary country that I really like is Paraguay and I... I don't know how to lie or dissemble. I mean, if I go to a country that seems defective to me, it won't take long for me to blame them and... Paraguay - I understand - is Heaven. People believe that the Heavens are soft, comfortable, fluffy... But the Heavens are spiritual spaces where hard and beautiful work is possible for man and to take the baton or the scepter from the Prince of this World... even if it is only for an instant. I love Paraguay. His initiatives, his history, his creations, his deep feeling, his aesthetics, his nobility, his strong memory, his humility... When I feel the perfume of the flowers that always reborn in Paraguay, I have to grab my heart. And I am partial and hold a grudge against those who did so much harm in the historical past. Their descendants still want to perpetuate the pain and past defeats with their stupid bullying! But I realize that there are Paraguayans who forgive and who live active and light as in a cloud... On the other hand, I read that it is possible to study Choral Conducting there, which is what my eldest daughter wants. I would like to be a school teacher there. How well prepared all those precious little children would come out! -I say to myself. They would not make a single mistake when writing, they would be analytical readers without losing an iota of their innocent freshness. But also to get in touch with young adults of their aristocracy, to teach them what high poetry, thought, and myths really are. Perhaps to infect them with a little of my intense vision of Paraguay. To also teach them to take writing further. My parents are elderly. When you fly to the spirit realm, I would like to reach Paraguay. Yeah; I'll go fix the papers.
