About

Geographer/Geomorphologist I retired after 9 years of lecturing Engineering at a tertiary level, writing the environmental engineering advance diploma, running gender imbalance programs and special programs for international students to travel. I'm an avid diver and have featured in several dive travel books (underwater model) and written articles on sustainable tourism development. I'm very much an earth geek and have organised and led private personalised tours from Sulawesi, PNG, Madagascar and Vanuatu. I love teaching and as much of my travel has been to very remote islands I've had the joy of teaching 'first contact' English to adults and children in jungles, given a impromptu lecture on the side of Mt Yasur Volcano to adults from 13 countries in a very crowded tree house. I'm easy going, hard working, mature but fun and energetic, enthusiast and honest. I visited Czech last year and fell in love with the entire country and have to attend a wedding in Budapest in September so would like to spend a few months in Czech so am looking for work, accomodation, friends and advice :)
