I am a writer who has lived in London for the last 12 years. It's home. Last year I moved to Hong Kong to soak up the experiences for my next book, oddly enough about a woman who moves to Hong Kong. My current book, Single in the City, was published June 24th, 2010, about an American woman who moves to London only to find that she is completely ill-equipped to live there. I know, what a strange topic for me to have chosen.

Definitely! It's inevitable I think after awhile to feel like an alien in your own country. I've lived in London for 12 years and no longer feel at 'home' in the US. I breathe a sigh of relief upon landing back in the UK. Read More
