About
We are a 30-ish year old couple with young twins from Providence, Rhode Island, USA. When the twins are 3-4, we would like to move to Argentina or Uruguay in order for them to be immersed in Spanish. I speak a nearly fluent (if choppy) version of Spanish, and my wife speaks a fair amount, so they are exposed to a lot at home and through friends, but nothing like living in a Spanish-speaking country!
A few things that are important to us in terms of where we move -
- as a gay couple with children, we would need to be somewhere that is open enough to them and us to be safe
- primarily Spanish-speaking - presence of tourism is ok, of course, but we are much more looking to become embedded with the local community and speak exclusively Spanish both amongst ourselves and externally
- heat! we love the heat and don't mind it at all - looking for good weather.
other than that, we are pretty open! Thanks in advance for any advice!
Interests: soccer, anything!
