French but having lived in Belgium for quite a few years, I have just followed my partner to Gambia where he received a job offer. I don't have a job yet but am taking a correspondence course. Having studied theater and speaking arts (at the cinema theater acting school in Li猫ge), I hold a Master's degree then an Agr茅gation (valid in Belgium) allowing me to teach performing arts. This year I gave theater lessons in Brussels. In recent years, I have worked in another field which, however, remains linked to creativity and human contact. I was a facilitator and responsible for an intergenerational project in a Brussels mental health service. This project (one of the center's various initiatives) brings together seniors and children (from precarious socio-cultural backgrounds, sometimes having learning and/or psychological disorders due to often difficult life paths). The goal was to create groups mixing children and seniors in order to carry out creative activities of all kinds based on pleasure, sharing, the exchange of knowledge... this in order to create structuring relationships, to stimulate the desire to learn, to promote everyone's skills in a festive spirit! I hope to be able to find projects and work (if possible related to art, creativity, human relations) that could suit me, also find saxophone lessons and/or join a brass band accepting beginners; take English lessons, a dance class... I would finally like to be able to meet people who could introduce me to cultural life, outings, places to visit, health advice, price advice, in short information about the country... but who could also perhaps become friends :) I have already traveled quite a bit but never to Africa and never for more than 5 months. I once went alone to South America (Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia) for 5 months with my backpack.
