About

Hiya! Have lived and worked in 10 countries around the world, have combined travel & food as careers. Have visited 135 countries , many several times over. Am a qualified chef, have run and managed many restaurants as well as owned my own. have done Food & Wine Tours around the world. I have also spent many years teaching English, Spanish & German as a qualified teacher with Berlitz School of Languages in Caracas, London, Madrid, Singapore and Cape Town. I also write both food and travel articles for over 100 publications around the world. Have done a lot of radio and television as well. I support various charities.....and started South Africa's first and only multi-racial charity for under-priveleged kids, called We Care. In 1997 we were awarded the French Human Rights Award handed to us by French Prime Minister Mr Lionel Jospin in Paris. A brief intro!
