I am from and presently living in Houston, Texas. My husband has been offered a relocation opportunity with his present company in Basel, Switzerland, so it looks like we will be relocating in January. We have been expats before. We lived in Khobar, Saudi Arabia, for almost 2 years and Dubai for 3 years. Our 2 children are grown so it will be just us moving to the Basel area. I am so excited but I have no idea where to start looking for a place to live. We also need advice on US taxation while living in Europe. We are open to living in France or Germany if there is a tax benefit.
