About

Hi, I'm Elio, graduated in foreign languages and literature with specialization and translation. I come from Afragola, province of Naples, and I worked, first in London and then in Glasgow, as an Italian language tutor and as an Italian language assistant in a secondary school. After a long summer pause for reflection in Italy, I decided to return to Glasgow, in the hope of finding a fairly decent job that would allow me to support myself and experience my independence in a slightly less sacrificial way. I'm shy and introverted, but I can open up to the right people. I know how to listen, and, according to what some of my friends say, I'm quite a comforter. I have lots and lots (sometimes too much) patience. I consider myself a calm and kind person, quite flexible and with a reasonable spirit of adaptation. However, I have a problem: I can't accept the idea of being homosexual, and this makes me shy and leads me to reject certain types of encounters.
Interests: travelling, I like reading novels and manga, walking with friends and chatting.

Occupation

I am Job seeker.

My expat journey

Glasgow, Scotland, Scotland

Since Aug 2016

Glasgow, Scotland, Scotland

I worked as a home tutor and Italian language assistant in a secondary school. Now...? Fingers crossed!
I hope to have one soon.
I like that you can find everything and have it at hand. People sometimes talk to you and they are generally all nice.
Unfortunately, you can't always understand the accent... but it depends on the area. Standard Scottish English is understandable and is also phonetically interesting.

London, England, England

London, England, England

I started with a bad life at McDonald's, only three months... then the turning point
Italian Tutor at the Institute of Italian Culture in London
I like almost everything about London, starting with the transport
Multiculturalism makes it too cold and distant. People don't talk to you often.
