I am a 46yr old woman who's happiness is in Historical research work and teaching history, that being in a room with old archives is a wondrous thing for me. To feel and read another's words on either parchment or their artistry put in front of me is like seeing something new that been seen. I used to go through the archives in California for their history and in New Orleans for the Colony of Louisiana. I picked Italy for that reason, but I also can run away to England because I still have family there. What I would like to do is teach history to those who speak English (though I would like to do that in Italian as well but still learning the language), be tourists or students that can't read and write in your native language. I was born in California and spent most of my life there but was raised by my parents I spent a childhood in a hospital bed therefore being taught to read and write by my grandmother who is English. She also was the one that toured the world and along with my love of California History, she got me interested in the world and the want to see it and live in it. Hence why I am thinking of leaving the United States (well among other things as well).
