My expat journey

Alicante, Valencia, Spain

Z眉rich, Zurich, Switzerland
I lived alone for two and a half years but I made friends like the Ghanaian Lesly Takyi Micah and the Swiss Hedy Bleiker, without forgetting my lifelong friend (and German teacher) Lie Hoby with whom I still keep in touch today. A person with a very big heart....
I was the representative of API Tunisie to UNIDO-Z煤rich, responsible for promoting Swiss, Italian and German industrial investment in Tunisia. API (industry promotion agency) is a Tunisian state agency reporting to the Ministry of Industry
organization, cleanliness, landscape and greenery
the people are very nice but slightly reserved....

Bridlington, England
I lived alone for only a year but I adapted very well to the pace of life of the people, their food (fish and chips), sport (badminton), long walks in a superbly green environment
I taught French in exchange for my additional training in English, as part of an exchange between my university in Tunis and the British Council. I made friends among my students including Amanda Lear (not the famous Amanda), the teaching staff and even Miss Mathews the principal.
the people are very kind, jovial, helpful!
the food is not bad but a little strange (tuna with jam!) but I still adapted! I was just 19 when I went to England in 1974
