After years of searching for affordable post graduate opportunities, I landed in Tallinn and have recently completed my MA degree, during the course of which I sought employment in the financial sector.

My passion is to acquire the requisite pedagogical training to enable students to grasp the ever-changing fields of studies that can be seen as very complex and too intricate for them to learn. As students walk into my classroom, filled with environmental print, animals, scientific objects, prisms, pyramids and measuring instruments they should feel as though they have just entered into another world. The walls will be covered with scientific and mathematical terms, journals, pictures, maps and drawings etc. because I believe learning can occur through observation as well as through textbooks. We will be taking adventures in science and mathematics classes by reading about former scientists and mathematicians from different cultures all over the world and performing their experiments in our own classroom. Mathematical classes will be as interactive, multicultural and technologically based as I can possibly make it because I believe mathematics is a journey, not merely something to be read in textbooks and then forgotten.
I believe that all children can achieve their full potential as they follow the educational path, if they are given the basics the essentialists extol, the individualism and cooperative learning environments the progressivists commend, the reinforcement of behaviourism, and the three C's of the schoolhome. The vision of my future classroom reflects all of these points. It is my hope that, as I impart the knowledge needed, I will also be able to inspire and motivate my students to seek more by showing them that they can have fun in the search. This is inevitably a challenge, but one that I look forward to.
