beautiful nature, the ocean, an active volcano, great sushi, great libraries, UH, a safe place
heat, isolation, roaches, everything is expensive,

hopefully a librarian by the time I get back
the seasons, the big city, snow, being able to take quick trips anywhere, Matjes Broetchen, forest and lakes and ducks, great bookstores/ museums/culture, functioning public transportation, sports & music events
rude people, clouds and cold for 8 out of 12 months, not-so-safe, no ocean & no good sushi

whose language do you speak on a daily basis? Yours? Theirs? A third language entirely? Can you speak each other's languages?
