Recently "widowed" by death of my long-term life partner, l am exploring new experiences for next phase of life. I have Mexican friends native to SLP, and that has prompted interest in the area, although l am quite interested in La Chalapa area and Merida because of expat communities there. Unable thus far to find much about SLP expats. Want to live in and absorb local culture, but desire connection to my native home as well.
