Out of curiosity I visited Detroit a couple of times and I've had the best experience. I've made a few good friends too. It's an inspiring, spacious and peaceful place in need of people who appreciate its nature and are willing to give at least a tiny bit of themselves. And they come.
The only con so far is always public transportation system. It seems to be getting better though!

Prague, Praha, Czech Republic

Experienced several jobs - either interesting and less interesting, learned a few important lessons.
- tabloid media graphic designer (web) - data analyst - independent artist (mostly non-profit) - occasional bartender
- Prague is very charming, romantic, sparkling, animated and what not, with large cultural palette. Name it you'll find it there. - Great public transportation system, paradise for non-drivers or frequent walkers. - Finding a job shouldn't be such a big deal, unemployment numbers are very low.
- Its slightly jittery and suppression-based mindset which, when being unaware of, can sometimes be a bit toxic to many different areas of life. - There's something odd about how Czech agriculture works which affects local offer, the quality of products and consequently people.
