About
First of all, no age, you don't ask a retired lady, you imagine her in top shape! I live in Rome with my husband and we would like to move to Portugal for a while. I read a lot of opinions on the forum, we've come up with some ideas, I'd like to be contacted by someone who has life experience in the places I mentioned. If I understand correctly, the problem in Faro is finding a long-term apartment; I don't know much about Cascais. Who can help me clear my head? We also like Lisbon, but maybe we would live the city life too much?
I took a single long trip to Portugal with my family about ten years ago and the memories I have are of a beautiful country.
From the Algarve we went up by car to Lisbon, passing through the Alentejo and then up to Porto, a little along the coast, a little inland. We would like to settle in the south, especially for the warm climate, but we are a bit afraid of the emptying effect in the winter months and the overcrowding in the summer, and to be honest, I remember huge seafront buildings that made us look for a hotel in Loul茅. I don't remember anything about Faro, from what I see on the internet it seems like a beautiful city. We would love Porto, too bad the rainy climate and the cold sea! But can anyone recommend any cities that are not too windy above Lisbon? Many thanks to anyone who will answer me.
Interests: going to the cinema, being with friends, visiting exhibitions, reading, walking..., I like travelling
