Hello I would like to live abroad for a while and have been seriously considering Chile. I am told they have a decent size light aircraft industry down there and since I have been making my living as a bush pilot in Alaska for the last few years I'd like to go down to South America and possibly work as a pilot. So I'm on her trying to figure out more about living in Chile and possibly net work my way into a landing that involves more than just showing up and hoping for the best.

Visa Background Check by parfunkel
I understand that a background check is required for work and resident visas. Does anyone know how strict these checks are? What would disqualify someone from obtaining a visa?
Does any one know what would disqualify some one from getting a Work Visa for Chile? In other words I am a US citizen and thinking about going to Chile. Thanks Read More
