After graduation and marriage I lived in Milan for a few years where I worked as an English teacher, until my husband and I moved abroad with him and my daughter for work reasons. We lived in London, New York and Hong Kong and in 2003 we returned to Italy. We lived in Turin for 8 years and in 2011, when my husband retired, we decided to move back to London to be close to our daughter. Given our experiences, we are not afraid of moving and we think the time has come to move again: this time to Portugal, given the tax advantages it offers, maintaining a small pied a terre in London to be able to see our daughter and grandchildren.
