Originally from Long Island, New York, I'm an up and coming development aid worker specializing in HIV/AIDS and family planning interventions embarking on a two-year field placement with Voluntary Service Overseas (aka VSO). I will be relocating to Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea in July 2011 with my 2 1/2 yr old daughter. I will be working with the PNG government on HIV/AIDS program assessment, development and coordination in the Central province.
Interests: cooking, and - of course - traveling!, rock n roll, gardening, , jewelry-making
