My expat journey

Istanbul, 罢眉谤办颈测别
I moved to Turkey because I searched for a place where I could improve myself as an adult and at the same time go deeper in my passions: journalism, languages, cultures and sociology.
Im eager to learn from another culture and what this, can teach me and how this great experience can modify my life improving it.
To know from a new culture is also to learn to look the thing from another point of view. This is, till now how I'm mostly cultivating my stay here in Turkey. Learning how to listen, feed the process of someone else and then move on, folowing mine.
Im a passionate of turkish kitchen and when I can I'm discovering the dishes and the product of this country.
Although similar to the italian, this kitchen as a much more various ingredient that a difference of Italy are used largely in different ways.
Beside the rich turkish kitchen, travelling the country, and, when it's impossible, visiting the city are other two great enjoyment that I allow myself in my free time.
Wondering around in a city like Istanbul is a pleasure that everytime I'm walking in its street I recognize as one of the best benefit of living in a city as Istanbul.
By now I'm planning to reach a better level of the language, create a more stable life-style and improve my work-situation.
I'm currently looking for a job.
I'm mostly interested to work as translator, as a tourist agent and in the tourism branch in general.
Beside this profession I am a passionate of writing.
I start 4 years ago in Germany a blog about my experience as a foreigner in Berlin and till today I continued to tell my stories, destinations and experience abroad to the italian audience.
As I move to Turkey I start as well making videos and today I shooting weekly a video about Turkey.
Lately I'm mostly shooting and telling on the blog about the kitchen of Turkey, subject that is become, a kind of pillar around that I'm building this blog.
Well of Turkey I like pretty much everything.
Food, nature, sightseeing, people (although sometime is a bit hard) and the little chaos that govern the country.
Something could be better, but we gonna wait for it.
What I really love from Turkey is that I can just grab a bus and after two hours of ride, I can be in a marvelous place, rich in story, nature and tasting food. I love this peculiarity and the fact that is not that expensive make the trip more enjoyable and pleasant.
Well, sometimes people are bit too far from politeness and sense of honesty I'm used to. It happens that I meet rude people and this is a thing I don't enjoy so much here.
Moreover is true that I had bad time to dealing with people and that, money here are one of the biggest value for a lot of people. I didn't like it.
It takes me a while to see that people here are most of the time losing their time talking without giving so much meaning to their words. Sometimes is good, but as everyone repeatedly is trying to speak You about nothing, get really boring for me.
I probably choose this country to learn how to deal with this kind way of wasting time. This is a goal I purpose me to achieve.
Get rid of my weakness, and taught me how to open myself the path I wanna pursue on.
