iam married living in the Philippines. I'm American and social security says my 4 year old son has to spend 30 days on USA soil to get his monetary benefit (HIS CHECK). Anyone know a way around this?
@pnwcyclist Not necessary. If the father is American they can file a CRBA in Manila. The child will then be entitled to SSA benefits. It is not necessary to live in the US. They will need to file with SSA there. Takes time. But they are entitled. Read More
