I am a special education teacher and a chiropractor. I live and work in Brooklyn NY. I will retire and be free to live where I want in about 5 years. I plan on snow-birding to DR on a regular basis. I like Rockabilly/roots Rock-n-Roll. I play guitar and bass. I love the climate and the area of Sosua, Dominican Republic. I envision myself doing chiropractic on a part-time basis and performing in the bars and restaurants of Sosua and Cabarete, Dominican Republicas well as enjoying life in general.

Interests: music, surfing

Can I open a bank account in the DR without being a resident?

I would like to be able to wire money to myself from my USA checking account. I'm not a resident or citizen of the DR. Can I open up a checking account here in the DR to accomplish my objective? Read More
