I was born and raised in western Pennsylvania but spent my adult life in the west coast - Washington, Oregon and now California. I am slowly making my way south! I love change and love to travel and explore new areas. I have always had a bit of wanderlust since I was young and traveled across the USA with my dad. I value my friends of several decades and love best to sit and share flood and drink and great conversation with them. I have gardened - with widely varying success - every where I have lived. I'm "into" organic foods and healthy living. I am also not rich and will be living on a budget but I am used to that! I am a Registered Nurse and my specialty had been ICU for my early years but I have moved into Hospice nursing since 2010 which I love. It is an honor to be with families and patients in the emotional and most intimate time of their lives. I am still working but do want to come to Costa Rica in the summer of 2019 to explore and do a Spanish language immersion program. I have 3 terrific kids that I am close to and a couple of grandchildren - so I will bounce back and forth between USA and CR.
