Hello Expats who have already made Australia home or considering in making in future. Immigration to another country is one of the hardest decisions to make given the array of things to consider and I am happy that this forum has been providing information that helps people in making the decision. While I was expat in Maldives, after careful considerations, I decided to apply Australian PR which I was granted two years back. However, I am still residing in my home country given the promising job I have been enjoying. However, I am not thinking to give up my Australian PR as it is becoming very difficult to get these days. Deciding between one of the best jobs in my country and moving to Australia is going to be one of the most difficult decisions of my life. As for my background, I am Chartered Accountant by profession in my mid thirties, married and blessed with a small baby and from South Asia.
