About
Graduated from the University of Rome "La Sapienza", faculty of Energy Engineering, with specialization in "Renewable Energy". Professional training carried out within the "Cerro Pabellon" geothermal project, at 4500 meters above sea level, on the northern plateau of Chile, Atacama Desert. Here, given my excellent knowledge of the Spanish language, I began by supporting the company, recently established in the country, in the administrative activity in the offices in Santiago de Chile. With the start of the works I moved to the construction site, where I developed my skills, cultivating and advancing in the civil and mechanical disciplines.
1. Massive earth movement, with development of roads and preparation of geometry and density of foundation pads.
2. Construction of reinforced concrete foundations with iron preparation, management of concrete mixer trucks for continuous and partial on-site arrival and unloading.
3. Assembly of prefabricated high tonnage metal structures. Installation operations with double crane and single crane; positioning and tightening on foundation.
4. Complete construction of 10 km of pipeline distributed throughout the territory. Three production wells feed the three twin stations which allow the production of steam suitable for the production of electricity. The circuit is completed by a pumping station at the two re-injection wells making the cycle renewable.
5. In support of the quality department, organization and supervision of non-destructive checks and hydraulic tests on all lines.
For the delivery of the plant, I was promoted to direct manager of the construction site, with management and organization of work vehicles, personnel and subcontractors, until the complete closure, demobilization and cleaning of the site. The experience just described, beyond the knowledge in technical disciplines, proved to be an extraordinary opportunity for personal growth.
The contact with the design, the relationship with logistics and organization, the supervision of the operational phases of the project chain, the implementation and management of technological and human resources, constitute, for me, the springboard for further experiences. Experiences that I have been able to assimilate, process, and develop with prompt decision-making and the ability to make the most of them for my professional journey.
Interests: Renewable energy, engineering, mining.
