Couple of retired teachers (72 and 70 years old) born and raised in Morocco, having lived 30 years in Normandy (Lisieux then Caen) then 4 years in New Caledonia, and since 2005 in La R茅union where I ended my career in 2012. No longer having a home in mainland France where three of our four adult children live, we do not know where to return to mainland France. The current context no longer attracts us at all. Without forgetting the 鈥渋mpoverishment鈥� experienced. So, why not return to our secret 鈥淕arden of Eden鈥� Morocco? With a preference for Tangier facing Europe and very accessible. We would happily exchange our impressions with retirees of our type. THANKS.

From Baby to 4 years old in a town between Fez and Ouezzane, then Casa until 1965. 4 years in France from 1965 to September 1969, and Prof VSNA from September 1969 to July 1972 in Amizmiz, province of Marrakech. Never returned to my native Montais since 1972.
Teacher then college professor, journalist and communications manager, and return to class from 1998 to December 2011. Retired in Reunion since January 2012.
A mad love for "My" Morocco, even if it has changed a lot for the better, I hope. I of course love France very much but I have been away from it since 2001, that is 18 years anyway. I no longer recognize myself in this current France.
