Hello, I'm Kevin (Mr. Gypsy), father to two amazing kids and husband to an awesome wife. We are from the Charlotte, NC, area in the United States of America, trying our hand at the whole living abroad thing, currently living in Puebla, Mexico. I'm fluent in Spanish, and have experience living, studying, and working abroad. I worked for years in the financial services sector, and am passionate about investing and personal finance. A career goal of mine is to create a business to help people transition from working to a secure retirement with plenty of income from their investments. Mrs. Gypsy grew up in a military family so is used to traveling, and some of her fondest memories growing up are from the three years she spent in Japan. Little Dude Gypsy is currently 7 years old (as of January 2019) and enjoys everything art-related and generally being a boy. Little Princess Gypsy is currently 6 years old and is into everything her brother is. She likes swimming and is a real firecracker around the house. I hope my blog will help those who are interested in making the leap into living abroad. I will share our challenges, victories, and advice to others that we've learned through experience. I will also focus on how we fund our adventures, mostly though investing for passive cash flow.
