About
Hello everyone.
My name is Franco Passarin, I'm 61 years old (but, they say, I look younger) I'm married to Marta Bissoli, 52 years old, employed for about 30 years, marketing manager at Riello Burnes. I have 2 children: Giulia, 25 years old (Doctor in Dental Hygiene) and Matteo, 16 years old, a language student (English, Spanish and German).
I deal with high-end, classic and contemporary furnishings, design and production, also with delivery and assembly service, all strictly Made in Italy. My job has allowed me to travel a lot, especially abroad.
I recently had the opportunity to work in Toronto in the months of January and February 2018 on the custom furnishings of a suite in Downtown, Yorkville, on the 15th floor of a tower, thanks to the contract signed with a developer-builder I met through friends.
The customer was very satisfied and informed me that for other jobs of this kind we will certainly be contacted as soon as the opportunity arises.
During the months of my stay I had the opportunity to experience and get to know this splendid city and both my wife Marta and I fell in love with it. Small note: my wife speaks English very well because she studied in the USA when she was young, hosted by a family in Minnesota. Marta would have the opportunity to request that her job be transferred to the Missisauga branch. In addition to Marta, my children were also with me during the Christmas holidays until January 6th and they too would agree to move.
In Ontario I noticed the impressive development of construction (how many construction sites and how many cranes!), especially high-end homes which is my core business. I firmly believe in the possibility of developing important working contacts with architects and interior designers who are often looking for qualified partners with quality furnishing proposals produced in Italy.
I also understood that it is essential to be present there, on the spot, because it is impossible to develop all this satisfactorily from Italy. With the first job and a little patience you could organize an office and small logistics with the aim of then hiring commercial, technical and/or fitter staff. This is why I am willing to move as soon as possible with my family, while my brother Federico (48 years old, married with a 5 year old child, partner with me in the family business for over 30 years) will be able to stay here in Italy to carry out the production of the orders.
