I graduated in literature and philosophy. I traveled straight away, attending the University of Kent in Canterbury (UK) in 1997/98, subsequently working as a teacher in Alexandria, Egypt at the Don Bosco Salesian Institute and the Italian Cultural Institute. I left part of my heart in Egypt.
