Married to Gregory (69), a special ed teacher. He will be retiring this summer. He was born and raised in Chicago, and lived here all of his life. He is ethnic Croatian, his grandparents were natives of Split. I (68) was born in Germany, grew up in Vienna, Austria, worked in Croatia and BiH for several years as humanitarian aid project manager. I was an RN (oncology and hospice) working in Tennessee and Chicago, retired now. Both Gregory and I would like to move to Zagreb, possibly as early as the end of 2019. We have a million question about living there, of course: cost of living, and housing (rental) possibilities being on the top of the list. We look forward to making new friends, both expat and Croats.
