Hello! My name is Sophia and i come from Greece. I was born and raised in Thessaloniki, which is a big cosmopolitan city on the Northern coast of the country. When i was 21 i got married to my husband who came from RI, USA and shortly after i had my first child. A few years later my husband and i decided that Greece's economy could not support our family's dreams , so we moved to the USA and established our base in Massachusetts. We worked hard and finished our studies here ( although i am currently continuing my education to achieve a BS degree in Chemistry). Life here has been good to us, and we are thankful for the opportunities we encountered. At the same time there are many serious aspects of living in the USA that my husband and I find to be big issues that lower our quality of life and cause us to live in fear. We are looking to move somewhere in the Basque country and pursue a slower pace of living, in a community where our kids can play with "la pelota" outside in the nature, and making friends while enjoying their childhood. A more family oriented, quality centered way of life is what we are seeking to provide our children and we are willing to work hard to achieve our dreams.
