I live with my French lover Gilles in Saint-Savinien. We are finishing off renovations and improvements of an old maison-du-bourg. We are having fun getting to know our neighbours in the locality and enjoy supporting local events and entertainments. I love cycling and this region has the most wonderful countryside and deserted roads and hospitable climate. It is going to take us years to explore!
I am a writer and published author of poems, short stories and romantic novels.
The countryside, the climate, the gorgeous medieval town, the river, our concitoyens...
Lack of water (but with a climate like this what did we expect!). Estuary beaches when the tide is out - but plenty of non-estuary beaches once you look around.
