We are, together with my wife, two differently young grandparents. Next year I should reach the seniority necessary to retire. We spend the month of August on a boat with our grandchildren and their family. We would think about moving to Portugal for the winter months and in any case for the time necessary to acquire the status of non-habitual resident. We have already done an inspection in the Algarve a couple of years ago, my wife likes Lagos but, in fact, we haven't investigated that much, we plan to do a second, more focused visit in October.
