I'm an American who adopted a street Mau cat in 2010. She was so different and beautiful that our family took a trip to Egypt to see for our own eyes the living situation for the cats. Upon our return, I started to work with a now-closed NGO and have gone on to form my own 501c3 charity dedicated solely to the street cats of Egypt.
