Hey, my name is Laura. I currently live in Adelaide, Australia. I am a teacher (primary school). I have taught Italian as a foreign language to primary school students for approximately 10 years. I have also taught drama and Italian language to secondary students. I have spent the last five years plotting and planning how to leave my comfortable life in Adelaide and move to Italy. Firstly, I travelled to Italy in 2014 and 2017 and convinced myself that I could do this; then I completed a CELTA course so that I could teach English in Italy. I waited for my children to leave home (mission accomplished) and finally I have been granted a year off from my job as a teacher. Ok, now for courage to kick in :) That will happen when I'm on the plane in July !
