I am an English girl in Cairo. I love Egypt. I鈥檝e been here for nearly three years and everyday is an adventure. Adventures have been particularly exciting lately, after being involved in the Egyptian revolution and detained by the army and caught in the middle of a teargas attack. I love going to new places in Cairo and I make new friends wherever I go. I keep my friends entertained with my dry humor and quirky personality. I adore dancing, especially when Ahmed Harfoush is playing. I haven鈥檛 tried out the Jazz Club yet, but I hear it鈥檚 pretty cool. I value honesty very highly but my friends tell me that I鈥檓 too honest, so I鈥檓 working on that. As Neale Donald Walsch says 鈥淪peak your words with truth but soothe your words with peace鈥�. I believe that the key to life is love for oneself, love for others and love for the divine. I attend local mediation and spiritual groups and I hold meditations at home. During the day I work for El Shams Real Estate Company. In my spare time I am a writer.
