I am from New York City and recently married in Morocco. I would like to join my husband in Casablanca and am seeking employment in the city. Although my family and I are native to the USA, I come from a Muslim family and am devoted to my Islamic principles and beliefs. My background is varied. I have a bachelors degree in theater arts with a minor in English. I have worked primarily as a professional actress (film, stage, commercials). I can currently be seen on a television and online campaign for Tide Detergent. I have also worked behind the scenes as a director for the stage and in production and casting for film. I have writing and journalism experience and was managing editor of an advertorial magazine . I own and operate two small business enterprises -a vacation rental owner/manager with properties in 3 US cities (NYC, Washington DC, and Philadelphia) and I have a vintage and designer clothing shop. I have worked in the fashion industry as a wardrobe stylist. I also have worked as an acting coach and theater instructor for teenagers as well as elementary students from age 6-10. I helped develop and co-facilitated an internship program for high school students giving them placement and job opportunities to work in public service. I also chaired 3 parent boards and sat on 3 others at my son?s school and was the event planner for all of the many corresponding events that ranged from functions for 150 to 1,800 people. And lastly I am currently the manager of a condo building in Brooklyn serving multiple owners. So, as you can see I have developed many skills among these various experiences. Im passionate, disciplined, hardworking, creative, with what I feel are , inshaAllah, great innovative energy, good ideas, and excellent leadership skills. I have one son who has just graduated high school and is beginning his adult life. I am also looking forward to finding out what this new phase of my life will uncover. I understand a little of a few languages but I would like to develop a fluency in a second language amongst the many ways I hope to expand myself on this new journey. I?m excited to discover what?s allah has in store for me and to the wonderful connections, inshaAllah, I will make in my new home in Morocco!
